The Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes (IGDR) is one of the major research institute of Basic Science in Biology in Brittany. The project of the IGDR is to develop research of excellence in areas such as Genetics, Cell Biology and Development Biology. In addition, we develop research in Biology at the interface with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Our localisation on the Health campus of the University of Rennes 1 is in agreement with our implication in the study of human pathologies mainly genetic diseases and some cancers.
